Shipping Policy

We know that waiting for skincare to arrive can feel like the longest part of the ritual. Here's exactly how, when, and from where your order travels to you — no surprises at the door, no vague "5–7 business days" guesswork.

1. Order Processing Time

Every order is prepared with the same care as the formula inside it. Orders are processed and handed to our shipping carriers within up to 2 business days of purchase, Monday through Friday, excluding the holidays listed in Section 8. You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order leaves our facility.

Orders placed after 2:00 PM CET, or on a weekend/holiday, begin processing the next business day.

2. Glossary of Delivery Estimates

Your order will be dispatched from the fulfilment centre closest to your delivery address. Estimated delivery times by region:

  • European Union: 3–7 business days
  • United States: 3–7 business days (Shipped from US)
  • United Kingdom: 4–7 business days

These are estimated timeframes and may vary due to customs processing, carrier delays, or local conditions.

3. Where We Ship

Valen Sey currently ships to the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States. If your delivery address falls outside these regions, checkout will not currently allow you to complete an order — we're actively working on expanding availability. Want to know when we reach you? 4. Shipping Methods: Standard & Express

We offer two shipping speeds, though availability depends on your destination:

  • Standard Shipping — available to every country we ship to. Cost and transit time are calculated by package weight.
  • Express Shipping — a 1-business-day transit option, available for the United States, United Kingdom, and most EU countries. It is not currently available for deliveries within Lithuania, and Cyprus and Malta are served by Express only (no Standard option).

Both options, where available, are shown automatically at checkout based on your delivery address — if Express doesn't appear as an option, it means it isn't currently offered to your location.


5. Estimated Delivery Times

These are estimated transit times after your order has shipped, not from the moment you check out. Add your processing time (Section 1) for a full door-to-door estimate.

6. Shipping Within the EU & Schengen Area

If you're shopping from within the European Union or the Schengen Area, your order moves as an intra-EU parcel. There are no customs checks, import duties, or additional border fees — the price you pay at checkout is the full and final price, full stop.


7. Shipping to the United States

Orders shipped within the United States are fulfilled from a domestic US-based facility rather than shipped internationally from Europe. Your order moves as a domestic US shipment from the moment it's dispatched — no customs process, no import duties, and typically our fastest delivery windows for that reason.


8. Shipping to the United Kingdom

Since the UK sits outside the EU customs union, orders shipped there may be subject to import VAT and/or customs handling fees, depending on order value and how the shipment is processed by customs. These charges, if applicable, are separate from your order total and are the responsibility of the recipient. We recommend checking with HMRC or your courier if you'd like to estimate charges before ordering.

Refusing a package due to customs charges will result in the parcel being returned to us; in this case, original shipping costs are non-refundable, and a return handling fee may be deducted from your refund.


9. Shipping Costs — General Rate Guide

Shipping is calculated by package weight, not item count, so the exact cost depends on what's in your cart. Here's a general guide — your exact rate is always calculated and displayed at cart and checkout before you pay, so you'll never see a surprise number at the final step.

Lighter orders (a single serum or moisturiser) sit toward the lower end of each range; multi-product sets and bundles sit toward the higher end. Estimated delivery time is also shown on every product page, in your cart, and again at checkout.


10. Holidays & Non-Fulfillment Days

Our fulfillment centers observe the following holidays. Orders placed on these dates are processed on the next available business day:

11. Order Tracking

You'll receive a tracking link by email once your order ships. Please allow 24–48 hours after dispatch for tracking information to update, as carriers don't always sync in real time.


12. Delays Outside Our Control

Occasionally, delivery is delayed by circumstances beyond our or our carriers' control — customs holds, severe weather, courier strikes, or regional disruptions. While we can't control these events, we can help: if your order is significantly delayed, contact us at contact@thevalensey.com and we'll track it down with the carrier and keep you updated.


13. Lost or Damaged Packages

If your tracking shows delivery but you haven't received your package, or if your order arrives visibly damaged, contact us within 48 hours of the delivery date at contact@thevalensey.com with your order number and, if possible, photos of any damage. We'll work with you directly on a replacement or resolution — see our Returns Policy for the full process.


14. Shipping Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders delayed, lost, or delivered incorrectly due to an incomplete or inaccurate address provided at purchase. If you notice an error, contact us at contact@thevalensey.com as soon as possible — we can often correct it before your order ships, but cannot guarantee changes once an order has been dispatched.


15. Multiple Items & Split Shipments

If your order contains multiple items, they may occasionally ship separately to get each product to you as quickly as possible. You'll receive tracking information for each shipment, and there is no additional cost to you for split shipments.
