Every Valen Sey product is produced under pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing discipline, designed to keep bio-active ingredients stable, potent, and genuinely active from the lab to your skin.

This page is our answer to the question we think you should be asking of every skincare brand: not "does it sound clean," but "can you prove it."

From Soil to Formula

Our formulas are built around whole-plant, bio-active ingredients — extracts, oils, and actives sourced with an emphasis on biodiversity-respecting, GMO-free botanicals. Where an ingredient is grown under organic farming standards, it's marked directly in our ingredient lists (look for the ➀ symbol on any product's INCI panel). This isn't a marketing footnote — it's a transparency habit we hold ourselves to on every single product page.

Inside Our Production Standard

Our products are developed and produced in a state-of-the-art facility in Riga, Latvia, certified to GMP (ISO 22716:2007) — the internationally recognised Good Manufacturing Practice standard for cosmetics. In practice, that means:

• Controlled hygiene environments at every stage of production, reducing contamination risk to a level appropriate for skin-contact products.
• Batch-level process control, so the formula in the bottle you receive matches the formula that was tested and approved.
• Ingredient stability protocols, ensuring active compounds — Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, botanical extracts — retain their potency rather than degrading before they reach you.

Because production takes place within the European Union, every formula is bound by EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) 1223/2009, which restricts or bans over 1,300 substances that remain permitted in many other global cosmetic markets. We don't get to choose the strictest standard selectively, ingredient by ingredient — it's the floor every formula starts from.

Global Manufacturing, Local Speed

To get living formulas to you as fresh as possible, Valen Sey products are produced and shipped from facilities in both the EU and the United States. Orders placed from North America are fulfilled from our US-based production and distribution point, which shortens transit time considerably compared to a single-origin European shipment — while orders across Europe ship from our EU facility under the same GMP standard described above.

Every Batch, Verified

Before any product leaves our facility, it passes through quality control checks covering:

• Stability — does the formula hold its texture, scent, and performance over its shelf life?
• Performance — does the finished product behave as its formulation was designed to?
• Packaging integrity — is the seal, pump, or cap functioning correctly, protecting the formula until it reaches you?

This is the same discipline used across pharmaceutical-adjacent manufacturing environments, applied to a category that too often settles for "looks nice, smells nice."

Manufacturing responsibly isn't a separate initiative for us — it's part of the same standard. Our production facility runs on 100% renewable electricity. Product containers are designed to be fully recyclable, and all transit packaging — the boxes and protective materials your order travels in, not just the bottle itself — is made from 100% recycled materials.
